Environmental Assessment

We have particular experience and expertise in reviewing the potential environmental impacts of a new facility. In the majority of cases it is possible to meet corporate environmental goals without incurring capital or operational costs.

ERS has comprehensive environmental management experience on a range of projects for all our client industries. Our experience ranges from the development of Works Approvals and licences, including design and coordination of surveys to assess environmental and social impacts, to undertaking Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of Public Environmental Reviews.

We also work with clients to develop either an Environmental Management System (EMS) and/or Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) which includes databases to record Environmental Hazards determined from Environmental Audits.

Throughout any project we consult and negotiate with regulatory authorities. Where necessary, community consultation and information dissemination is undertaken as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment process.

Our Environmental services include monitoring the execution of environmental obligations and operational impacts as well as the undertaking Environmental Licence Audits.

ERS has also been involved in the review of environmental legislation passed in Western Australia with the aim to identify necessary administrative procedures, databases, regulations, training requirements, and needed forms, documents and certificates.
